Our Patronal Festival

On Monday 24 June we celebrate the Feast of the Nativity of St John the Baptist, our Patronal Festival. We will prepare for it with the Parish Novena over nine days, beginning on Saturday 15 June, and on Monday 24 June we gather joyfully to keep our feast.

Low Mass will be said at 10am (at St Julian’s, followed by the Rosary) and at 12 noon at St John’s Altar.

The main service is Procession & High Mass at 7.30pm; we will welcome Fr David Stevenson to preach. Father was curate here from 2008 to 2011 and is now Vicar of St John’s Watford. The deacon of the Mass will be Deacon Joshua Bell, curate to our friend Fr Adrian Ling at All Saints’ South Lynn, who will be looking forward to his Ordination to the Priesthood the following weekend.

A party follows the High Mass.
