Safeguarding
Our parish is committed to the safeguarding of children, young people and vulnerable adults.
Safeguarding is everyone's responsibility, and in the parish it is coordinated by the Parish Priest and the Parochial Church Council (PCC). The PCC annually adopts Child Protection and Adults at Risk policies which you can read by clicking here.
Shirley Buxton is the Parish Safeguarding Officer. Her role includes ensuring the PCC implements Diocesan safeguarding guidelines and she can receive, but not investigate, any suspicions or allegations of abuse which may arise. If you have a safeguarding concern, you can contact her:
