The Julian Centre

Next door to St Julian's Church and part of the same Shrine complex, the Julian Centre is our visitor centre with a warm welcome for pilgrims, tourists and the local community alike.

The Julian Centre is currently open from 10am to 3.30pm on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays as well as by appointment for groups and for events.

The Julian Centre contains our bookshop where visitors can purchase a wide range of books about Julian of Norwich and the spiritual life, together with specially-commissioned memorabilia, postcards, greetings cards, articles of devotion and gift items.

There is also a lending library, open to all, which provides resources about Julian, the mediaeval mystics, Christian theology and spirituality.

If your visit takes place during a day we are closed, feel free to ring the doorbell at All Hallows Guesthouse and if available the Hospitality Manager will be happy to let you in.

We welcome volunteers at the Julian Centre to assist in welcoming pilgrims and visitors, serving in the shop and answering queries.  If you have a heart for service and some time to give, please contact our Hospitality Manager, Josiah English, for the simple volunteer application pack.

Enquiries about visits and pilgrimages should be addressed to the Priest Director, Fr Richard Stanton.  Many groups visit us throughout the year, and we're glad to provide hospitality in the Julian Centre as well as liturgies, talks and more in St Julian's Church.
