11th July 2015 - Quiet Day at St Julian's Church
There will be a quiet day at St Julian's Church on Saturday 11th July from 10.30am to 3.30pm.
The day will be led by Fr Malcolm Griffin and will consist of a sequence of short addresses based on themes taken from the life and writings of George Herbert, interspersed with times of silence. Mass (Common Worship) will be celebrated near to the middle of the day. Participants will be free to use St Julian's Church; the Julian Shrine; the garden to the church; the garden to the Guest House; and the adjacent Julian Centre.
There will be no formal tea/coffee/lunch breaks; participants will be able to take whatever refreshment they bring with them, at any time, in any location other than the church and the shrine. Tea and coffee can also be purchased in the Julian Centre.
There is no charge for the day (donations can be made to church funds) but, to help with arrangements, please reserve a place by contract Fr Malcolm on 01379 669252 or father.malcolm@outlook.com
