Rev'd Canon Michael McLean RIP

Rev'd Canon Michael McLean, sometime Rector of this Parish, died peacefully at 4.20pm on Monday November 6th. He was able to remain in his own home in Walsingham to the end. That afternoon he received a blessing from The Bishop of Richborough, he was anointed, and Fr Frank Nichols concluded the prayers of Commendation moments before Father Michael passed from this life to his heavenly reward. May he rest in peace.

Fr Michael's Requiem Mass will take place at the Shrine of Our Lady of Walsingham at 12 noon on Tuesday November 21st. The Eulogy will be given by The Bishop of Norwich. The Parish of St John's Timberhill and St Julian's will be arranging a coach that day to leave from Norwich at 10am.
